MORE ABOUT JOHN ONDRASIK
From the lyrics of his hit song World, John Ondrasik, the Grammy nominated, platinum selling frontman for Five for Fighting asks his spellbound audiences, “What kind of world do you want?” This is the inquiry that permeates the musical performances and keynote presentations of one of the most captivating singer-songwriters of his generation.
Perhaps best known for his moving post 9/11 performance of his billboard-topping song Superman at The Concert for New York in Madison Square Garden, with additional radio hits like 100 Years, and The Riddle, Ondrasik has cemented his legacy as one of the nation’s most compelling musical performers.
The founder of the recently launched “Let Music Fill My World” program, John is committed to making music education available in every school in America. A leading philanthropist and fundraiser, Ondrasik is one of the nation’s foremost supporters of our Armed Forces and an all-too-rare artist committed to numerous causes that cry out for advocacy.
Leveraging his talent to create music designed and destined to draw attention to the most critical issues of our time, John has written and performed songs highlighting autism, ALS, and muscular dystrophy, as well as pieces focused on geopolitical conflicts including the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, the war in Ukraine, and the recent attacks on Israel.
Ondrasik holds a degree in Applied Science and Mathematics from UCLA and serves as an executive in his family’s multi-generational manufacturing business.
While performing and speaking from coast to coast, John Ondrasik challenges each of us to answer the perpetually perplexing question - “What kind of world do you want?"
