Ribbon Cutting - Calhoun Communications

Join us in welcoming Calhoun Communications to their new location. They will be serving food and refreshments after the ribbon cutting.
Calhoun Communications was formed over 40 years ago by Jerry (Cal) and Norma Calhoun as a contract engineering company that provided technical services to small market AM and FM broadcasters in the upper great plain states. Starting out with only part time technicians, Cal and Norma grew the business throughout the years by staying abreast of new technologies and expanding into these technologies, primarily broadband wireless solutions. Today the company has 11 employees comprised of RF Engineers, tower technicians, IT specialist and business development personnel as well as administrative staff. With the expertise of their team they are still pursuing new growth into other technical offerings such as surveillance cameras, warning sirens, cyber security and other internet based technologies. Due to the growth of the company it was decided to design and construct the facility they have now to better accommodate their operations in a more efficient manner. Cal was very proud about the new facility and had Norma drive him out to check on the progress often but unfortunately Cal passed away before the completion of the new building.
