Ribbon Cutting - Sunrise Retirement Community

Join us as we celebrate Sunrise Retirement Community's 65th anniversary! Following the ribbon cutting, there will be a memorial tree planting and refreshments.
Sunrise Retirement Community is Siouxland’s only community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit senior care community. Governed by a local board of directors, Sunrise has been serving seniors from Sioux City and the surrounding area since 1961. Over the years, services and living options have expanded to provide a full care continuum including, independent living, affordable housing for seniors, Medicare skilled/rehab services, long-term nursing care, nursing memory care, assisted living and assisted living memory care. Their mission statement is “Sunrise enhances the lives of seniors by providing comprehensive care and a high quality of life with excellence, compassion, and integrity.”
Sunrise Retirement Community is proud to celebrate 65 years of serving seniors and the Siouxland community with compassion, integrity, and excellence. Since opening its doors in 1961, Sunrise has remained committed to creating a place seniors are proud to call home while continuing to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the community.
