Join us on Thursday, September 3 at 6:00 PM at the Siouxland Chamber (101 Pierce St.) or via Zoom for an informational meeting to learn more about our trip to Spain. Please register for the meeting and a Zoom link will be included in the confirmation email.
This fully escorted trip is available to Chamber members and non-members. The highlights of the trip include Granada, Alhambra Palace, Generalife, Mijas, Seville, Plaza de Espana, Maria Luisa Park, Seville Cathedral, La Giralda, Cordoba, Gibraltar, and Ronda. The trip departs from Omaha's Eppley Airfield (OMA) on Tuesday, October 19, 2027 and returns Wednesday, October 27, 2027.

Spain's Costa del Sol stretches along just over 90 miles of the Malaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The Costa del Sol is known for its beautiful landscapes, delicious food, and the warmth of its people. Here you will also discover a rich cultural heritage, fabulous beaches, coastal sites, and charming villages. On your tour you will travel to the nearby towns of Seville and Ronda to take in such sights as the Alcazar Palace and Plaza de Toros, the oldest bull ring in Spain. Your tour includes the #1 attraction in all of Spain, Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Visiting the Costa del Sol would not be complete without a tour to Gibraltar to view the infamous Rock of Gibraltar.

Join us for Rush Hour Connect as we commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Rosecrance Jackson Centers. For five decades they have transformed lives throughout Siouxland and beyond through innovation behavioral healthcare, addiction treatment, and steadfast support for lifelong recovery.
Did you know...
- In 1976, Dr. William "Bill" Jackson and his wife, Marienne, responded to a critical need in Siouxland. Driven by their love of children and commitment to their community, they helped establish Iowa's first residential treatment program for adolescents and families affected by addiction.
- Rosecrance Jackson Centers' Women's Center is one of only five treatment facilities in Iowa where pregnant women and mothers can remain with their children while receiving care, keeping families together through the recovery journey.
- The residential campus has evolved into a holistic healing environment. A major expansion added a therapeutic recreation center, walking paths, and a chapel, giving clients opportunities to support their recovery through recreation, nature, reflection, and connection. The project was supported by a $2.3 million state grant along with community philanthropy.
- Each year, Rosecrance Jackson Centers serves more than 8,000 people with comprehensive care for substance use, co-occurring mental health conditions, and process addictions, with specialized programs supporting teens, adults, women and children, veterans, and other individuals with unique needs.
- Rosecrance Jackson Centers is committed to culturally responsive care that respects and meets the needs of people from diverse backgrounds.
