The Junior League of Sioux City is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Discovery Shop. The Discovery Shop is the sole fundraiser for Junior League of Sioux City and benefits JLSC and the community in several ways:
- by providing funds for JLSC projects and training;
- by providing quality merchandise at affordable prices;
- through the Career Corner program, providing vouchers for people getting back into the work force to community agencies for distribution to their clients who may be in need of interview/work appropriate clothing; and
- by providing a means for a person to receive tax credit for the donation of items they no longer use.
