The longstanding family-owned delarship will host a free food truck lunch for the community from 11am-1pm with the ribbon cutting at 11:30am.
The family-owned dealership was founded on May 1st, 1922. It began as a two-car, two-person operation in a 25x90 foot rented space. Now, Knoepfler Chevrolet has hundreds of new and used vehicles, over one hundred employees, and is located on a multi-building campus spanning across 7.5 acres of land.
Currently, the company is located in the heart of downtown Sioux City, and is operated by the 4th generation of family owners, Ben and Joe Knoepfler.
In addition to selling and financing new and used vehicles, the dealership also has a service center, collision center, detail center, and parts department. |

| May 18 - May 19 67th Siouxland/Washington Conference 2022 |
The Siouxland/Washington Conference, held every Spring since 1954, is a unique opportunity to join with community leaders from the tri-state area to travel to Washington, DC and present regional issues of importance to our Congressional delegation. Conference attendees have the opportunity to discuss issues with each of the six Senators representing Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, as well as the eight Representatives from the three states. Attendees participate in a two-day schedule packed with meetings around the Hill. The tradition-rich event also boasts a steak reception on the first evening of the conference where conference goers mingle one-on-one with the tri-state delegation in an informal setting.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Each conference attendee is responsible for their own travel arrangements. United Airlines has a daily departure from Sioux City (SUX) to Chicago (ORD) at 8:09 AM with an arrival in Washington, D.C. (DCA) at 1:42 PM. Make your reservation through your travel agent or online at flysux.com.

ACCOMMODATIONS
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Washington D.C Capitol Hill (formerly the Washington Court Hotel) for our group at a single rate of $369 + tax. To make your reservation, call 833-964-1097 by April 11, 2022 and identify yourself with the block group code of SCOC or Siouxland Chamber of Commerce or click here to make your reservation online.
It is imperative that our conference attendees use these accommodations in order to fulfill the contract with the Hilton Washington D.C. Capitol Hill Hotel.
WASHINGTON DC COVID-19 VACCINE RESTRICTIONS
Proof of vaccination is required since January 15 at restaurants, bars, movie theaters, entertainment venues, sports venues, indoor exercise sites, hotel gym and dining spaces. Vaccination is not required to stay at the hotel. As of January 15, patrons 12 and over need to show proof of one vaccine dose. Beginning February 15 they will need to show that they are fully vaccinated (two doses). Masks are required indoors at least until February 28, 2022.

Full refunds will be made for cancellations received on or before April 18, 2022. Cancellations made between April 19, 2022 and May 3, 2022 will be refunded 50% of the conference fee. No refund will be issued for cancellations after May 3, 2022.

The company was established in 1972 in Sioux City, Iowa. Jebro manufactures, tests, and ships quality liquid asphalt materials from four terminals located in Sioux City, IA; Corson, SD; Cheyenne, WY; and Waco, TX. The liquid asphalt is typically supplied to contractors and public agencies for use in highway/street construction and the road maintenance industries. Jebro also has a division that is dedicated to collecting used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, and other petroleum in five nearby states. Everything collected is recycled or reprocessed to be used as industrial fuel. |

Join us in welcoming Pub 52 to the Siouxland Chamber!
Pub 52 was named after Sergeant Bluff. Sergeant Bluff was the first township in Woodbury County in 1852. Pub 52 is locally Owned by Justin Truhe and Taylor Truhe. Taylor grew up in Sergeant Bluff and attended High School here. Justin is from Jefferson, SD and grew up in North Sioux City, SD. Together they now live in Sergeant Bluff. Pub 52 is a local Sports Pub & Grill. They hold events of all sorts for kids, families, and of course nightlife for the adults. Pub 52 opened its doors on January 4th of 2022, and they plan on being a part of Sergeant Bluff and Siouxland communities for a long time to come.
After the ribbon cutting they will have a Happy Hour drink special on beer, shots, and mixed drinks as well as 25% off all appetizers until 6pm. Pub 52 will also be giving away Bandits tickets for their last two home games and Explorers jerseys for the kids (while supplies last)! Then from 6pm-8pm they are offering $5.20 off all meal/drink tickets over $25. Finally, at 9pm they will have live music from Ben Grillet and Eran Ellerbeck from Ben Grillet & Black Bloods!
