The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland will be celebrating the completion of the More Room More Love Expansion project, creating an additional guest room for families, and making several of the home's rooms & resources more accessible for guest of all abilities. An open house & tours will follow.
RMHC Siouxland opened in March 1994. The $350,000 expansion project was paid for through a grant from MRHD and community donations. The average night stay for a family at RMHC of Siouxland is 10 nights. |

The Club Teen Center is a brand-new space in Siouxland for boys and girls, ages 12-18. The vision for the teen center dates back many years and Boys & Girls Clubs of Siouxland is excited to finally bring it to life. This safe and welcoming space includes areas focused on workforce development, STEM, arts, heath & wellness, and leadership training. This building expands access to programs for teens that will ensure they are on track to graduate with a plan for their future, while providing amazing experiences and building friendships that will last a lifetime.

Join us in celebrating the opening of Hunt A+ Arts Elementary School.
The new Hunt A+ Arts Elementary School opened its doors in time to welcome students for the 2022-23 school year. It is three times larger than the previous Hunt building, the beautiful new building incorporates a contemporary design with touches of nostalgia, including a large "Hunt" sign carved into sandstone from the original school building. One of five specialty elementary schools in the Sioux City Community School District, Hunt A+ Arts Elementary School incorporates visual and performing arts throughout its curriculum. Students are introduced to a new art form each quarter and produce and star in a major production each year. Approximately 265 students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade attend Hunt A+ Art Elementary School, one of 21 schools in the Sioux City Community School District. |

 Michael R. Pompeo is the only person in U.S. history to have led both the State Department as Secretary of State and the Central Intelligence Agency as Director.
Pompeo?s extraordinary legacy of leadership began, when, as a teenager, he reported to the United States Military Academy at West Point to attend college. After graduating first in his class from West Point in 1986, Mr. Pompeo served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain before the fall of the Berlin Wall and with the 2nd Squadron, 7th Cavalry in the U.S. Army?s Fourth Infantry Division.
Upon completing his military service, Pompeo attended law school at Harvard, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, earning his Juris Doctor in 1996. He worked as an attorney immediately following Harvard, and then founded Thayer Aerospace, a global supplier to the world?s leading commercial and military aircraft manufacturers, serving as CEO. He later became president of Sentry International, an oilfield equipment, distribution, and service company.
Mr. Pompeo left the private sector to represent Kansas? 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Elected four times, he served from 2011-2017 with committee assignments including Intelligence, Energy and Commerce, and the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
Mr. Pompeo left Congress upon his nomination by the President and confirmation by the Senate to serve as the Director of the CIA. He remained at the CIA until he was nominated and confirmed to lead the State Department as the 70th Secretary of State in 2018.

Founded in 2020, Sunnybrook Hope Center is a safe and welcoming place to receive practical help, be connected to a Christ-centered community, and take steps forward toward a sustainable future. Every month, over 150 volunteers serve as the hands and feet of the Hope Center to support over 4,000 people. |
