Coffee & Purrs is Sioux City's first ever cat cafe, a sanctuary where customers can choose to come hangout with the cats, work, have a date, drink their coffee/beverage of choice, relax, or adopt. The coffee shop is a separate building from the cat cafe (but they are right next to each other), so if you're not a cat lover, but you love coffee, do not fret! Coffee & Purrs is very excited to be a part of Siouxland and provide this unique experience to adopting more cats out in the area. Join us as we cut the ribbon to celebrate Opportunities Unlimited's renovated homes.
Opportunities Unlimited has been providing residential and rehabilitation services for individuals with brain injuries and other special needs for 30 years. Their intermediate residential program serves individuals who require assistance with self-cares and other skills needed to live in the community in a more independent setting. OU has recently completed a remodel of one of the homes which will further support individuals of all mobility levels, allowing persons served to thrive in a home environment supporting their independence. The homes include four bedrooms which each have their own half bath, a large bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower, a large living room area, dining room, accessible kitchen, and laundry facilities.

The room will provide high-quality childcare and education for infants and toddlers in the community with the ability to transition into their Y Preschool program.
The Early Learning infant/toddler childcare room is phase 1 of the Y's Early Learning and Youth Development Center, which will offer a range of childcare and early education services for children from infancy to Siouxland teen programming. |
