The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides FREE tax preparation services.  VITA helps put hard-earned money back in the pocket of those that earned $54,000 or less in 2017.  Check our website at www.centerforsiouxland.org for more information or call (712) 252-1861 ext. 11 to speak to one of our trained specialists who can help you schedule an appointment or give you more information about our Super Saturday Schedule where you can have your taxes done with no appointment - walk ins are welcome!  There will be Super Saturday services at the Center For Siouxland office at 715 Douglas Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on February 3, 10, 17 and 24, March 3, 10, 17 and 24 (no tax preparation Easter weekend) and April 7 and 14. 

Please be sure to bring along the required information needed to complete your tax return.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR VITA TAX APPOINTMENT

Valid Photo ID for taxpayer and spouse

Social Security cards for all on tax return

Copy of last year's tax return or tax transcript

Proof of income and interest statements

Bank information for direct deposit

If married filing joint tax return, both spouses must be present.
