South Sioux City, Nebraska, September 19, 2018: Delta Hotel, South Sioux City Riverfront announced today that the hotel will become a Marriott Hotel franchisee, the flagship brand of Marriott International. Beginning this fall, the Delta Hotel will undergo extensive improvements to bring the Marriott design experience to their traveling customers. After these improvements are complete, the Riverfront Marriott will officially open in the summer of 2019 making it the first Marriott Hotel in the Sioux City area.
“We are very pleased that Marriott International has recognized the outstanding job we have done as Delta Hotels by Marriott with both our service and property improvements, and as a result has approved our application to become a Marriott franchisee” said John Gleeson, owner of the hotel. “I will continue to own the hotel as my family has since 1972 and the hotel will continue to be managed by Ralph Bobian and the same great team that has been there for many years.”
