Fiber art refers to fine art whose material consists of natural or synthetic fiber and other components, such as fabric or yarn. This includes arts such as crocheting, knitting, weaving, macrame, quilting, appliqué, needlepoint and cross stitch, sewing, tatting, lace making, and spinning among many others. Do you want to join together with other like minded fiber artists? Would you like to learn from others or share your talents with others or see what other people are doing in fiber arts? Then this is the place to be! Come to MakerSpace and join Andrea, a fiber arts enthusiast and artist who taught knitting and weaving for our fiber arts demo day recently. MakerSpace has the materials and resources for most of these arts for beginners to check out the group…enough to get you started. This is a must see for all!!
