After 32 years of leading Thompson Solutions Group, Skip Perley has announced he will be retiring as CEO, effective
December 31, 2024.
Under Mr. Perley’s leadership, Thompson Solutions Group has continually expanded its services to include Electrical Construction, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Life Safety and Security, Electrical Safety, IT, Automation and Robotics, Architectural Sheetmetal, and Service based teams in all locations to support their customer’s needs. Skip’s knowledge of the industry and quest for innovation is unmatched, and he has been an asset to Thompson Solutions Group for decades. Starting in the field at Thompson Solutions Group in 1976 as an electrician, Skip worked nearly every role in the company, becoming CEO in 1998. Skip has been an advocate for the Siouxland community, serving numerous Siouxland organizations and non-profits. As a company, Thompson Solutions Group has followed in his footsteps, donating their time and resources to many worthy causes in each of their locations- something the company plans to continue to do. Known as a fearless leader, Skip has always been an early adopter of technology, pushing his team members for change and growth. He has been heavily involved in the electrical industry & NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association). NECA CEO, David Long had this to say of Skip; “Skip’s impact on our association has been invaluable. His insight on the importance of research in the optimization of the electrical industry across America has been crucial. On behalf of the National Electrical Contractors Association and the thousands of contractors who have benefited from his service, I would like to wish Skip our heartfelt congratulations. His vision and support of the industry will have a lasting impact.”
The Board of Directors of Thompson Solutions Group is excited to announce Renee Beaulieu as their next CEO. Renee is currently President, CFO, and Treasurer of the company, and will take over the role of CEO January 1, 2025. Renee has been with the company for 31 years and brings a wealth of company knowledge to her new position. Renee began her career with Thompson Solutions Group in 1993 as Controller. Three years later, in 1996, Renee was named CFO. In addition to her CFO responsibilities, Renee has successfully led the Operations, Human Resources, and Technology teams at Thompson.
